A very warm welcome to Henleaze Infant School!

The Reception team are really looking forward to seeing you and your child at your home visit on either Wednesday 4th, Thursday 5th or Friday 6th September 2024. You do not need to prepare anything. The classroom teams will visit your home and start getting to you and your child. If you have forgotten the timing of your visit, please contact the school office.

We are excited to welcome groups of children into the classroom from Monday 9th September. Please refer to your child’s personalised induction timetable to find out if they will be in school in the morning or the afternoon (if you have misplaced it – click here, although you will need to know if your child is on timetable A or B). 

Diary dates

• Friday 4th October – School INSET day (no children in school).
• Wednesday 16th October 9:00am – Phonics learn-a-long followed by Early Reading and Phonics meeting. We are inviting you into the classroom to see a your child take part in a phonics lesson. You will learn how to blend and segment too! Afterwards, we will have a quick parent meeting to equip you with the skills to support your child to read their reading books at home.
